Lange haben wir an der nächsten Ausgabe unseres Salons der Künste gefeilt und freuen uns heute umso mehr bekannt zu geben, dass unser nächster Salon im Rahmen des Universal Hospitality Open Forum – Into the City (Wiener Festwochen) am 5. Juni 2016 im AIL – Angewandte Innovation Labratory stattfinden wird.
Eingebettet in das Universal Hospitality Open Forum, bildet unser Verein Cardamom & Nelke mit einer künstlerischen Präsentation und Programm den sinnlichen Abschluss dieser spannenden Reihe.
Das von Wolfgang Schlag kuratierte Open Forum/Into the City widmet sich den Hintergründen von Vertreibung und Migration und diskutiert Strategien auf welche Art und Weise auf die daraus resultierenden gesellschaftlichen Dynamiken in Europa zu reagieren ist.
Es sind internationale NGOs und zivilgesellschaftliche, künstlerische Initiativen und Institutionen, sowie KünstlerInnen und AktivistInnen aus verschiedenen europäischen Ländern geladen. Im Rahmen des Programms stellen diese ihre Zugänge vor, um eine dringend notwendige gesellschaftliche Veränderung zu mobilisieren, die der derzeitigen Situation Rechnung trägt. So wird ein Wissensaustausch und Perspektivwechsel für jene Mennschen in Gang gebracht, der allen Menschen in Europa zugute kommen soll.
An dieser Schnittstelle knüpft auch unsere Intiative einer neuen Wiener Salonkultur in Form des „Salon der Künste“ an: Im Rahmen unserer Veranstaltungsreihe wollen wir migrantische und nicht migrantische KünstlerInnen und Kreative mit Exponenten des Wiener/Österreichischen Kunst- und Kulturbetrieb vernetzen.

In the name of our non profit association „Cardamom & Nelke“ we have worked a long time on a new edition of our „Salon of Arts“ and are very happy to announce that our next Salon will take place in close cooperation with Universal Hospitality Open Forum – Into the City (Wiener Festwochen) on June 5th, 2016 at AIL – Angewandte Innovation Labratory
Enbedded in the structure of the Universal Hospitality Open our “Salon of Arts“ offers the sensual closing point of this symposium with artists´presentations and culinaric surprises.
„Open Forum/Into the City“ curator Wolfgang Schlag targets the causes and effects of expulsion and migration and aims for strategies on how Europe should react towards certain social dynamics and developments. International NGOs and civilian and artistic initiatives and institutions, artists and activists from around Europe will take part in the symposium. The progamm reflects their different approaches towards civil participation and mobilisation for social issues in our time.
At this tipping point our initiative „Salon of Arts“ is closing in as a renewed vision of the historic Viennese salon culture: we want to bring together migrant and non-migrant creatives and artists with further exponents of the fine arts and culture in Vienna and Austria for the greater good of the whole society.
